Stopped here blindly for Sunday brunch. Never had tapas for breakfast, but we had a fantastic experience. Our server, Justin was great. The menu seems ever changing, but our table of 3 had truffle grilled cheese sandwiches, homemade chorizo stuffed mushrooms, breakfast fries, roasted veggies, and bignets. Everything was top notch. Coffee was perfectly strong and smooth. Wish I didn't drink so much the night before, or I'd have tried one of their boozy concoctions. Next time. I'm from Chicago, and this place would fit right in to the foodie scene there, but the portions would be 1/3 less and the prices would be doubled. Appreciate what you have, Stevens Point.

I love Father Fats! I'm not from here, but when I visit I always get excellent food. The menu is never boring and exceeds a high level of scrummy! I recommend stopping in for a luscious cocktail, super surprising menu and superior service!

Unique good and drinks. The industrial vibe is interesting but VERY noisy. Love the outdoors space in the summer

First visit to Father Fats but not my last! Went to celebrate a new job and was not dissapointed. Some of the best food ever! So much flavor! I could live on the mushroom soup!

Very unique! Each dish was amazing and look to going there and trying more. It was my first time being at a restaurant where you share plates. I like that because I typically like to split dishes with people.

UNBELIEVABLE! happened upon this place and I've been in 2 nights in a row. Everything is in small plates so plan on ordering more than one thing. Quality of ingredients is superlative. Quality of preparation is exactly what it should be. Great attention is paid to flavor combination and treating ingredients with respect. You can taste every component of the dish as it should be. Beer list is centered on regional breweries. Apparently there is a sister restaurant across the street with equalling wonderful food but I didn't learn about it until I ordered food and drink here. I could go on forever about the menu, service, and food...just go. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped by Father Fats on my way through SP and loved it. It surprised me that a small town had such a diverse menu, pulling its inspiration from many different places. The food was good, I didn't get much help on recommendations since they change their menu frequently. I had the firecracker shrimp, the short ribs, two truffle grilled cheeses and the amaretto brulee. The service was fine but I'd consider spending some time with each server. I'm not sure if who I had was newer but she wasn't available much, very nice and professional though. Besides that I'd highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Food is delicious and wine was wonderful! If you are looking for gluten free or vegan, this is not the place for you. Wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Menu of small plates changes so check their Facebook page for daily menu.

Great service and food. I went with a group of people and we all ordered random items for sharing, the mgr even came out to address the various Bourbon options and was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all our questions. The food was exceptional! From scallops and halibut to twice baked potatoes and duck curry. If in town for the week, local or driving through...we all enjoyed it!

Such friendly staff. Our waitress suggested us some of her favorite menu items. The food was super great. My boyfriend and I had a great time and we definitely want to go back and try out other things on the menu. Especially since some of the items change daily. The setting of this place is clean and modern. What I ordered was the caramel apple french toast and it was very very good.

Stopped here for lunch while visiting town during Thanksgiving break. From the service to the food our experience was excellent. This is a great place to come if you’re looking for tapas style food, or small plates—and everything has a Cajun flair.We had the jambalaya, firecracker shrimp, and the calamari. The shrimp in particular were excellent, and my partner and I couldn’t get enough of the delicious sauce they came in, fighting over the last spoonfuls to slather over our jambalaya.On my trips home I’ve always been a huge fan of Christian’s bistro but had never made it here. I was very impressed and will have to return sometime for dinner. The prices are a bit more than you would pay elsewhere in Point, but commensurate with the quality and experience—and the drinks are actually fairly reasonably priced.

This spot is excellent! Good rates, big dishes and the staff are regularly super friendly.

Moved to Stevens Point 2 yrs ago, just discovered father fats, wow. Love being able to try so many different dishes and drinks. Staff is awesome, even the chef comes out to talk when he can. This is our( my wife and I) favorite place.

Omg!!! Didn’t expect to find a place like this in Stevens point. Such an amazing foodie experience. The decor is really neat, waiters are awesome and the food... crazy good. Try the pork and grits or the rabbit and wild rice. I highly recommend!

Excellent food! This restaurant is a treat for Stevens Point. The food is incredible and the drink options pair magnificently. This is world class dining at an incredible price. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great dining option. Brittany was tending bar and she was the best!
